ESA IMPLEMENTATION TRAINING COURSE


Endangered Species Act (ESA) Implementation Training Course 
The Department of Defense's (DoD's) Natural Resources Program (NR Program) sponsors a one-day ESA Implementation course intended for experienced DoD natural resource managers. This interactive course is an advanced instruction on the interagency cooperation process, also known as Section 7. The course provides plenty of time for questions and answers, and features instructors who are experienced natural resource professionals.

Navy-Specific Training Courses:
The NR Program, in cooperation with the Navy, developed and successfully piloted a Navy-specific offering of the Endangered Species Act Implementation training course. Using a cost-sharing approach, Navy matched NR Program funds to cover course related expenses for several Navy-specific course offerings.
